Anomaly 2 is the sequel to the universally acclaimed Anomaly: Warzone Earth created by 11Bit Studios S.A. The game was announced on 28th February 2013 and released on 15th May 2013 for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The game continues the storyline where Anomaly: Warzone Earth and Anomaly: Korea ended. In the year 2018,  humanity won the battle against the alien race called the Machines. 3 years later, they came back and wiped humanity off the planet. Only a scattered few managed to escape. It is now 2034, humanity fights to take back Earth with the most advanced hardware they have: heavily armored vehicles equipped with morphing technology. They're led by commanders wearing Combat Suits - the biggest military breakthrough since the invention of gun. Humanity have only one chance left to send these Machines packing. It it won't be easy as they defend their positions with powerful defense towers that multiply through a vast network of spawn stations. It's going to be a rough road ahead..
