An indie video game published by Hype Train Digital and developed by Ink Stains Games. A beautifully hand-drawn, gun-toting, poncho-sporting undertaking into what seems like the perpetually acrimonious world of the wicky-wicky-Wild West. The name of the game – 12 is better than 6 – is an old cowboy saying about self-defense: “let twelve jury judge me better than six carry my coffin”. The story puts you in the shoes of escaped slave fleeing to the United States in 1873. Explore the dangers of Wild West in hand-drawn top-down shooter.GAMEPLAY:It is 1873. An escaped slave is slowly walking through the desert, making his way from Mexico to Texas. He keeps a revolver close and is wearing the sombrero stolen from a dead man. He sees the somber, desolate world around him in black and white, aside from the blood spilled from his enemies. He trusts no one and shoots straight. The plot tells the story of the escaped convict Juan, who has lost his memory and does not understand what is happening: his portrait adorns the streets of the city, he is being pursued by gangsters, headhunters and the government.Attempts to understand what is happening wrapped the protagonist to the Indian tribes, fanatical Mormons, Chinese miners. And everywhere he faces all sorts of trouble. In many games, heroes rush around the world, gathering friends and allies for themselves. The wild west is different – here, wandering around the world, it is easier to make yourself another enemy. Five years. He can remember the last five years of his life. He remembers himself being worked to death, dragging trolleys in a mine. Memories of the whistling whips of slave-drivers, the thunder of all the shots fired and the cries of dying slaves are deep in his mind. It is as if he had lived his entire life on that mine among killers, thieves and debtors. As the escaped slave rolls up the sleeve on his left arm, a tattoo of an Aztec deity stares back athim.
